Life is what's happening to you while you're busy making other plans

Leonie O'Connell

My career in the caring professions began in the 1970s when I trained as a nurse, followed by midwifery in the 1980s. In 1987, I moved into the childcare profession, where I worked for more than 20 years, developing a deep understanding of human development, emotional wellbeing, and the importance of early life experiences.
In 2011, I began formal study in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Hypnotherapy, and Psychotherapy, leading to my work as a clinical hypnotherapist. Since 2014, I have also been teaching and training hypnotherapists, combining decades of experience in caring professions with a strong commitment to professional education and therapeutic practice.
